    Call for Paper Special Issue"Diagnostic and Therapeutic Synthetic Biology"
  • Introduction
    With the rapid advancement of synthetic biology, its applications in healthcare have demonstrated unprecedented potential and broad prospects. As a pivotal branch of this field, Diagnostic and Therapeutic Synthetic Biology aims to achieve precise disease diagnosis, treatment, and prevention through the rational design and engineering of biological systems, thereby injecting new momentum into global healthcare innovation.

    In light of this, Synthetic Biology will launch a special issue titled "Diagnostic and Therapeutic Synthetic Biology" to compile cutting-edge research achievements and showcase the transformative possibilities and profound impact of synthetic biology in medical diagnostics and therapeutics. This special issue will focus on the latest advancements in the field, providing a platform for academia and industry to exchange ideas and collaborate, ultimately accelerating the development of diagnostic and therapeutic synthetic biology.


    Themes
    The special issue will cover, but is not limited to, the following topics:

    1. Applications of Gene Editing Technologies in Diagnosis and Therapy

    2. Biosensing Technologies for Disease Detection

    3. Cell Therapies and Regenerative Medicine

    4. Novel Principles, Technologies, and Strategies in Diagnostic and Therapeutic Synthetic Biology

    5. Ethical, Regulatory, and Safety Considerations in Diagnostic and Therapeutic Synthetic Biology


    Submission Requirements

    • Manuscripts must include Chinese and English abstracts, an English graphical abstract, and bilingual (Chinese/English) figure/table captions.

    • Invited Reviews: Should provide systematic, forward-looking, and visionary perspectives.

    • Research Articles: Must present complete and innovative findings (comparable to journals with Impact Factor ≥5).

    • Perspectives/Commentaries: Should critically evaluate recent (<1 year) groundbreaking studies and propose novel insights.
