分析合成生物学相关PCT专利数据表明，美国、日本、中国和韩国是主要专利来源国。其中，我国的专利布局主要集中于农业食品领域的技术创新，而在其他领域的布局相对有限。在提交超过30项PCT专利的37个申请人中，美国占11个、日本10个，韩国、德国、法国和丹麦各占1个，而中国仅有江南大学提交了相关国际专利申请（图8）。
